The theme controls the look of both your portal and your widget: the social embed image, light and dark mode, and the accent and button-text colors.
Settings > Setup > Portal > Theme.
The settings sit on the left and a live portal preview on the right updates as you change colors and mode.
The image used when your portal link is shared, for example on social platforms. Upload a file with the upload button; the image must be exactly 1200x630 pixels, and an upload with the wrong dimensions is rejected. Once set, hover the image to reveal an upload button (to replace it) and a trash button (to delete it). Uploading and deleting both save automatically. Viewers cannot change the image.
A three-way selector for how the portal handles appearance:
System: follows the visitor's system preference.
Light mode only.
Dark mode only.
Selecting an option saves automatically.
Two color inputs that apply when the portal is shown in light mode:
Accent color: the main brand color.
Button text color: the text color on accent-colored buttons.
Each input has a color swatch and a text field. Type a color value; it saves automatically shortly after you stop typing, and also on blur.
The same two inputs (Accent color and Button text color) that apply when the portal is shown in dark mode. Same swatch, field, and auto-save behavior as the light-mode colors.
Open Settings > Setup > Portal > Theme.
Upload a 1200x630 embed image so shared links show a branded preview.
Choose a Dark mode option: System, Light mode only, or Dark mode only.
Set the light-mode Accent color and Button text color.
Set the dark-mode Accent color and Button text color.
Watch the preview on the right to confirm the colors read well in both modes.
The theme is shared by the portal and the widget, so changes here affect both surfaces.
The embed image must be exactly 1200x630 pixels.
Every control saves automatically; color fields save shortly after you stop typing.
Viewers can see the theme but cannot upload or delete the embed image.
The logo shown on the portal is set on the Portals section (workspace logo and per-portal logos), not on this page.
