The Billing page shows your current plan, your renewal and seat details, and the full plan comparison where you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. Billing runs through Stripe, so payment methods and invoices open in the Stripe customer portal.
Settings > Workspace > Billing. The page itself is titled "Plans".
An outline button in the page header, labeled "Invoices" with a download icon. It opens the Stripe customer portal in a new tab, where you can view and download your invoices.
This button appears only for workspaces that have a Stripe customer record and are not currently in a trial.
A summary card that appears when you are on a trial or on any paid plan. It shows:
Your plan name, with a "Trial" pill during a trial or a "Current" pill on a paid plan.
The per-seat price (for example, price per user/mo or user/yr).
Trial period days left (during a trial only).
Users: the number of seats currently billed.
Next renewal: the upcoming total and renewal date. If the subscription is set to cancel, this shows "Scheduled to cancel on" with the end date instead.
An outline button inside the current plan card, labeled "Payment methods" with a credit-card icon. It opens the Stripe customer portal in a new tab so you can add or update your card.
If your workspace is on a legacy plan, the current plan card shows a warning that you are on a legacy plan and need to upgrade, along with a "Manage plan" button that opens the Stripe plan-management flow.
A switch above the plan columns that flips pricing between "Yearly" and "Monthly". Prices in the plan columns update to match the selected interval.
Three plans are shown side by side: Starter, Pro, and Scale. Each column shows the plan name, the per-user price for the selected interval, and an action button. The action button text changes based on your current state:
Add payment details: shown on your current plan when no payment method is on file.
Select plan: shown on other plans while you are in a trial. Opens the plan update flow.
Downgrade plan: shown on a lower-tier plan than your current one.
Resume subscription: shown on your current plan when the subscription is scheduled to cancel. Reactivates the subscription.
Cancel subscription: shown on your current paid plan. Opens the cancellation dialog.
Start 7-day trial: shown when upgrading to Pro or Scale and you have not had a recent cancellation. Starts a trial of that plan.
Upgrade plan: shown when upgrading and you are not eligible for a trial. Takes you to Stripe checkout.
Buttons that start a subscription or checkout redirect you to Stripe and back. After a successful checkout you return to this page and the plan data refreshes automatically.
Opened by the "Cancel subscription" button. It is titled "Are you sure you want to cancel your plan?" and collects a short exit survey:
Why are you leaving Productlane? A dropdown: Some features are missing; Too hard or complex to use; Too many performance issues or bugs; Customer service was less than expected; It's too expensive; We don't need it anymore; Other.
Can you elaborate? How could we have improved? A free-text field.
What tool are you switching to? A free-text field.
Confirm with "Confirm cancellation". After cancelling, your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, and the page confirms this.
A dialog titled "Contact Sales" for reaching the Productlane sales team about enterprise or custom needs. It collects your full name, work email, and a message, and sends it with the "Send message" button (or Cmd+Enter / Ctrl+Enter). You can also email [email protected] directly from the dialog footer. This is a legacy contact form; for enterprise pricing you can also reach out at [email protected].
New paid plans for Pro and Scale can start as a 7-day trial when you are eligible (no recent cancellation).
During a trial, the current plan card shows the days left, and other plan columns offer "Select plan".
When a trial ends, a banner reads "Your trial has ended" and prompts you to pick a plan to keep using Productlane. Some import features are also disabled once a trial ends.
Your subscription is billed per user (per seat). The current plan card shows the number of users under "Users", and the renewal total reflects that seat count. Adding or removing members changes the billed seat count.
Enterprise pricing is custom. Use the Contact Sales dialog or email [email protected].
Workspaces on the Startup program are on a 12-month contract with the same entitlements as Scale. The current plan card shows a note to contact Productlane to change your tier, and the plan comparison grid is hidden for these workspaces.
Productlane contributes 1% of your subscription to remove CO2 from the atmosphere through Stripe Climate.
Open Settings > Workspace > Billing.
Choose Yearly or Monthly with the interval toggle.
Find the plan you want (Starter, Pro, or Scale).
Click the action button on that plan (Start 7-day trial, Upgrade plan, or Select plan).
Complete checkout in Stripe. You return to the Billing page and your plan updates automatically.
Open Settings > Workspace > Billing.
On your current plan column, click Cancel subscription.
Choose a reason, add your feedback, and note which tool you are switching to.
Click Confirm cancellation. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
Open Settings > Workspace > Billing.
For a card, click Payment methods in the current plan card. For invoices, click Invoices in the page header.
Both open the Stripe customer portal in a new tab.
Payment methods and invoices are handled in the Stripe customer portal, not inside Productlane.
Cancelling schedules the subscription to end at the period end; you can reactivate before then with "Resume subscription".
Legacy plans must be upgraded to a current plan; the current plan card surfaces this with a warning and a Manage plan button.
Deleting a workspace that has a paid subscription also cancels the subscription (see the General settings article).
